The company hopes its Avenir sub-brand will help further elevate average selling prices.
General Motors has confirmed pricing and launch details for the 2018 Buick Enclave, which will inaugurate the upscale Avenir sub-brand.
The redesigned crossover's base price has jumped by a modest $1,000 to $40,970 (including freight), according to an Automotive News report.
At the top of the range, the Enclave Avenir will start at $54,390 with front-wheel drive or $56,690 in an all-wheel-drive configuration. Each will feature premium upgrades including a unique three-dimensional grille and a wood-accented steering wheel, essentially taking inspiration from GMC's Denali branding but focused on luxury.
A spokesperson promises the Enclave Avenir will deliver "an extensive set of smart, responsible luxury features" and a simpler buying experience.
The Enclave is said to fetch the highest average selling prices among GM's latest redesigned crossovers. The company apparently believes the Avenir brand will help push the purchase prices even higher.
All new Enclave trim levels will benefit from refreshed exterior styling, more stowage space and improved fuel economy thanks to a 400-pound reduction in the crossover's curb weight.
The first examples will begin arriving in showrooms this fall.
